I’m a Toronto wedding photographer and videographer working in a candid, documentary style, shaped by paying attention rather than directing. I started Verity Weddings because I wanted wedding photography to feel less like a performance and more like a normal day, just one that happens to be the most important one you’ll have.

I also think photo and video are good at different things, not interchangeable. A first kiss, golden hour portraits, or the exact look on someone’s face during a first look belong in a photo, something still enough to come back to again and again. Vows and speeches don’t work the same way; you need to actually hear them. That’s the reasoning behind every collection being mixed media wedding photography: I photograph what deserves to be photographed, and film what needs to be filmed.

My approach is collaborative. Each wedding gets shaped through actual conversation with the couple, not a template applied to every day the same way. I’ll guide you when it helps and step back when it doesn’t, so the story unfolds the way it actually happened, not how it was staged to look.
